Litverge policy

Privacy Policy

Product-aligned draft · Updated October 5, 2026

This notice explains the main categories of information used by the Litverge features currently implemented in the platform.

Camera, microphone, photos and location

The Android app offers an optional one-time permission setup for camera, microphone, foreground location, notifications and Bluetooth audio connections. You may decline these requests and manage them in app or Android Settings; Android can independently revoke or expire access. Camera and microphone are used for capture, internet calls or live broadcasts. Location access is requested when you choose to add your current location to a post or profile; you can enter it manually instead. Android's system picker grants access only to the photos or videos you select for upload. Internet messaging and calls do not need your SMS messages, cellular Phone permission or call logs. We do not request calendar or address-book access. Notification registration tokens are bound to active account sessions, encrypted on the server and sent to Firebase Cloud Messaging when configured. Background notifications use generic activity text; signing out disables alerts for that session. You can deny access and change permissions in Android Settings or Settings > App permissions in supported app versions. When you request a current address or nearby places, coordinates or search text are sent through our server to the OpenStreetMap-based Photon location provider. Lookup coordinates are not stored as a location history; the selected place label is saved only when you publish your post. Location shared in a post or profile follows that content's audience settings.

Information we process

Litverge processes account and profile information, usernames and contact details, authentication/security records, posts, Sparks, media, stories, comments, follows, groups, messages, reports, support requests, live activity, virtual-coin transactions, creator applications, payout records, and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

Identity verification for creators

Creator monetization uses an identity-verification provider. Litverge records verification status, workflow/session references, timestamps, and information needed to administer creator eligibility. Identity capture and liveness verification are handled through the configured verification provider rather than ordinary profile forms. Do not submit another person's identity information.

Payments and payout details

Litverge and its payment providers process information needed for top-ups, eligible purchases, creator earnings, withdrawals, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, and reconciliation. Sensitive payment credentials should be handled by the configured payment provider. Creator payout account information is restricted and protected by server-side controls; only the information necessary to operate payouts should be retained.

Media and storage

Uploaded profile media, posts, stories, gallery media, live replays, and other supported files may be stored using Litverge's configured object-storage provider. Visibility depends on the feature and privacy settings you select, including public, private, or custom album/group settings where available.

Litverge Music and Sounds

If you submit music, Litverge processes the audio file, title, artist or rights-owner name, description, genre, rights basis and statement, Artist Rights, License & Warranty Agreement version/hash and acceptance timestamp, limited technical acceptance records, reuse choice, submission status, review records, and related release metadata. Approved full songs may be published for listening in Litverge Music. A song is made available for supported Stories and Sparks only when the submitter separately authorizes that reuse. Litverge also processes play-count and moderation information needed to operate the music service.

Copyright and rights complaints

When a copyright or intellectual-property complaint is submitted, Litverge may process claimant contact information, the identified work and content, ownership or authorization statements, good-faith and accuracy declarations, review notes, evidence, status, and an affected uploader response or appeal where applicable. These records may be retained as reasonably necessary to investigate disputes, enforce platform rules, establish an audit trail, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Live, communications, and communities

Litverge processes information needed to provide live video, viewer counts, live comments, virtual gifts, messages, groups, support conversations, and related notifications. Third-party real-time communications infrastructure may process technical data necessary to establish live sessions.

Reports, moderation, and enforcement

When you report a user, post, Story, Spark or live content, Litverge records the report, reason, relevant target and context, status, and support/moderation response. Questions and bug reports are stored separately as support requests. Moderation records may include temporary or permanent bans, creator monetization restrictions, appeals, review notes, and evidence reasonably needed for safety, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or legal obligations.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate accounts, deliver requested features, personalize the service, maintain security, detect abuse and fraud, administer creator eligibility and payouts, respond to reports and support requests, enforce policies, troubleshoot problems, maintain records, and comply with applicable obligations.

Service providers

Litverge may use infrastructure, database, object-storage, real-time communications, identity-verification, payment, email, security, and deployment providers to operate the service. Providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for their role and should be configured under appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

Your controls

Depending on the feature, you can edit profile information, manage privacy settings, block users, manage albums and groups, change or remove supported saved payment-method records, review your submitted reports, contact support, and use available account-management tools. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud, disputes, financial reconciliation, or legal obligations.

Devices and remembered sign-in

Litverge stores a random installation identifier in browser or app storage and uses a keyed fingerprint to bind sessions to that installation. Remembered sign-in can be renewed while the session remains valid. Signing in on another device revokes sessions on other installations. Clearing app/browser storage, signing out, account restrictions, security actions, or expiry can require authentication again. The native app hides its preview when backgrounded; this does not prevent a recipient from copying information they can access.

Security and retention

Litverge uses access controls and other technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Information should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here and applicable legal, financial, security, and dispute-resolution requirements.

Philippine privacy rights

For a Philippine launch, Litverge should provide processes for applicable rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and related National Privacy Commission rules, including appropriate access, correction, objection, erasure/blocking, and complaint handling where legally applicable. Final procedures and contact details must be confirmed before public launch.

Before public launch: add the final Litverge legal entity/controller identity, business address, privacy contact/DPO details where applicable, retention schedule, cross-border processing disclosures, provider list, lawful-basis/consent language, cookie/analytics disclosures, and finalized data-subject request procedure after Philippine legal/privacy review.
